Along with over 200 communities around the U.S., this will be the St. Louis venue for observing the Global Day for Darfur.   "Voices for Darfur" will feature St. Louis Hip Hop group, The Apostlez; poet, K. Curtis Lyle; vocalist, Alexandra Petrullo; actress, Vivian Watt and more.  Please spread the word and bring your friends.

The St. Louis Save Darfur Coalition, coordinated by the Jewish Community Relations Council, is an alliance of over 70 faith-based, humanitarian and human rights organizations in the St. Louis area that works to mobilize and educate on the genocide in Darfur and advocate on behalf of the people of Darfur.

Around the World 5k Run/Walk

5k Run/Walk hosted by the Washington University Running Club
Come out for a fun race celebrating St. Louis diversity.

The race will raise money for the Wash U. Running Club with a portion of the proceeds
benefitting the African Mutual Assistance Association of Misoouri(AMAAM). AMAAM is a
local nonprofit organization that helps eaSe the transition into St. Louis life for African refugees and immigrants. Recently, Federal budget cuts have created severe financial problems wthin their Organization, and they need the community 's help to continue providing their services
